Removal of credit card surcharges
From 1 October 2026, you can pay your Unitywater bill by credit card with no surcharge.
This change follows recent reforms to card payment surcharges announced by the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA).
If you prefer to pay by debit card, nothing changes. Debit card payments are already surcharge-free.
From 1 October 2026, both credit and debit card payments can be made without an additional surcharge, giving you more flexibility in how you choose to pay your bill.
